Celebrating Veterans Day!

One of the most meaningful days of the year at CCE comes when we celebrate our Veterans.  The children learn such a valuable lesson about the selfless acts of Veterans and how their acts support us and others.  For many of them this is the first time they can actually get past the notion that they wear camo and fight.  I am so proud of the children for participating in this ceremony, and of our school for recognizing the importance of this lesson.

It was a perfect morning for the flag to fly.These are all Veterans that are family members of students at CCE.  Many parents, grandparents, uncles, and cousins were in attendance today.
