Engineers In Action!

Today we learned about Christopher Columbus the great explorer.  The kids were challenged to be his engineer to design as hip that could float holding as many passengers as possible to make it to the new world.  The learner did a great job constructing their ships and testing their designs.  What a great day of learning!

We Are COOKING In Kindergarten!

These kids LOVED cooking apples today!  They did NOT however all like eating them.... Hmm

Saving The Best For Last!

The last 15 or so minutes of each day are reserved for free choice time.  Kids get to choose there favorite thing and just play with their friends.  They CHERISH this time!  Here is a peek into this great time!

Mystery Reader a Day!

Thanks to Ravali's mom for reading to us today!  

Today was a VERY busy day!

We started the day with our butterflies emerging from their chrysalis!

Then we had a visit from our counselor Mrs. Garvin!

We went to the blue house for science with all of our kindergarten friends!

We ended our day with Tyler's mom teaching us about her job as a pharmacist.  She made sure to tell us to never take medicine that doesn't have our name on it.  

What a GREAT DAY!

We were so fortunate to receive 2 monarch butterfly chrysalis yesterday!  The kids are LOVING learning about them and watching them transform with the digital microscope.
