Mystery Readers!

We ahve had SO much fun with all of our Fairy Tale celibrity readers! Here are this weeks treasures! Dr. Penny as Cindrella, Nurse Pam as Little Red Riding Hood, Mrs. Hammons and Mrs. Thedford as Aladin, Mrs. Kastrunis as The Princess and the Pea, and Kay Neuse as The Little Red Hen! I hope that the kids came home with fantastic stories about our guests and the treats they left us along the way. :)

Mirror Mirror on the Wall.........

Snow White is the fairest one of all! She came to visit today to read her story. She even gave us a poison apple to eat! It was CHOCOLATE of course!

The Three Bears!

Assistant Superintendent Brad Hunt came by this afternoon to read the story The Three Bears. He was so sweet that he even brought us some Teddy Grahams for a snack!

Look out Kindergarten Here Choate comes! We had so much fun listening to Mr. Choate read today. He even gave us some magic beans to plant this afternoon. I can't wait to see if a beanstalk grows!

Fairy Tale Mystery Readers!

WE have started our magical unit on fairy tales in Kindergarten. Each morning is started with a special guest celebrity reader from CCE, and then another again after lunch. The kids are SO excited with each guest. Thus far we have heard from Ms. Gilstrap, Mrs. Allshouse the ESL teacher,and Linda Cook the Science coordinator from CISD. This will go GREAT with our upcoming field trip to the Arboretum to see the fairy tale castles and our fundraising movie night. I LOVE KINDERGARTEN!
