We had an AMAZING day on Friday with our service learning Baked Potato sale. The kids truly did ALL of the work. It began with poster designing to advertise, taking pre-orders and collecting money, creating a grocery list, prepping the food, and at last running the make shift restaurant. I was so impressed with their excitement and dedication. Our next step is to visit the book fair at our school next week to purchase books with the profits from the sale. These books will then be taken to Children's Medical Center for the kids that don't have the luxury of coming to school each day.
