The Princess is in the House!

Mrs. K entered the room with a puff of Fairy Tale dust to read her story Princess and the Pea.  The kids were so excited to hear how she met her handsome Prince.  She had a hard time getting comfortable in her chair during the story, but then discovered that a pea was in her CHAIR!  The kids loved figuring out how it got there and even were so lucky to have some sweet "chocolate" peas for brain food.  Thank you Mrs. K for making this such a great learning experience.

Exciting News!

Kindergarten was skyping with a CHS science class today to discover that we will begin incubating eggs today!  In 21 days we should have some sweet little chicks!  :)

She may have read a princess story, but we all know she is the QUEEN!

Dr. Penny got us ready for the story of Cinderella by going over some vocabulary that may be tricky.

She was very tech savvy and used the Smartboard for her story.  You can try at home!

At the end of her story she gave each child a piece of cheese as a reminder of the magic of the mice in the story. :)

Jack and the Beanstalk

We were so lucky to have Officer Gonzales read Jack and the Beanstalk to our kindergarten learners today.  His voice and presence were both "Giant Like" and the kids were mesmerized by the experience.  This was a great opportunity to see that police are our friends!

CCE Celebrity Fairy Tale Readers!

This little piggie is wearing Rangers gear and brought us some tale gate treats after reading the story of The Three Little Pigs.  I wonder who it could have been?

You may recognize this Billy Goat and Troll from the office?  They were fantastic readers of The Three Billy Goats Gruff!
