Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall....

Miss Meador is the BEST music teacher of ALL!  Snow White herself came and read her story to the kindergarteners today.  She even gave us a poison apple!  (chocolate of course!)

The kids have been crazy over the ipods during reading group time.  If you have one at home you can download fairy tales right off of itunes!  The kids have loved it!

Castle Creations

Today we were able to create our own castles!  The kids had a fantastic time working together.

Sleeping Beauty

We woke up sleeping beauty this morning to read us her story.  It was magical!  The kids were especially enthusiastic when the prince had to kiss the princess, some with applause others disgust.  They ALL were willing to accept her kisses though. 

(Chocolate kisses of course!)

More Peas PLEASE!

EVERYONE ATE THEIR VEGGIES TODAY!

It is TRUE!  All of the kids LOVED the peas at lunch today>  Maybe because they were chocolate????

Princess and the Pea

Today we had a special treat as Mrs. Kastrunis and Mr. Bailey joined together for the reading of The Princess and the Pea.  The kids were amazed that in fact Mrs. Kastrunis may actually be a real princess as she could hardly get through the story in the very uncomfortable chair in which she was sitting.  Who knew that there was a tiny pea under the cushion?  She treated our kids to their own magic wand and bag of chocolate peas for being such a great audience.  :)
