Party Day!!!

Thank you so much for the perfect party day!  I overheard "This is the best day EVER!" many times.  Thank you to Arnav's parents and Kayla's mom for running the show, for your donations for the party, and for the very generous gift.  I am the luckiest designer at Lee because I am lucky enough to work with YOUR KIDS!! I hope you have the happiest of Holidays!

Kindergarten Is Cooking Up Some Gingerbread Today!

The kids measured, mixed, and stirred it all together!

Chef Helen Baked it in the cafeteria oven for us!

We decorated it just PERFECTLY!

Now we are waiting for it to cool off to EAT!

These Native Americans Are the Best!

PLEASE DONATE A TURKEY!

Last year as a result of our frozen and virtual turkey collection, CISD fed almost 80,000 people in the DFW area at Thanksgiving!  You can bring your turkey frozen on Friday or you can donate to the North Texas Food Bank.   www.ntfb.org/turkey  Don’t forget to choose Lee Elementary when you donate online.  It would be awesome if we won the turkey drive our first year.  

What a GREAT Dance Friday Night!

We had a GREAT turnout from or KRED friends on Friday night.  THANK YOU to all that attended and danced the night away. I was AMAZED by all of the beautiful dresses and LOVED hearing that even though some of the parents had other plans, that the kids insisted on coming.  It was a GREAT night that was enjoyed by EVERYONE that attended.  THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Engineers In Action!

Today we learned about Christopher Columbus the great explorer.  The kids were challenged to be his engineer to design as hip that could float holding as many passengers as possible to make it to the new world.  The learner did a great job constructing their ships and testing their designs.  What a great day of learning!
