The kids made a GREAT video today of this classic story!  The problem is that our technology is down and I can't get it to upload!  I hope that you ask them to sing it for you when they get home.  It is priceless!

If You Give a Kindergartener A Cupcake......

They will want some frosting and sprinkles for sure!  We are reading the Laura Numeroff "If You Give..."  series and the kids are LOVING all of the fun that comes with it.  I can't wait to see what their versions will look like when they write their own next week! 

Colt Cafe

Today the third graders opened up the Colt Cafe for lunch!  The students had to apply for various jobs including wait staff, hostess, cashier, cook, runner, busboy, etc.  The kids had a great time ordering their lunch, waiting for it to be delivered, and eating in the cafeteria.  What a great learning experience for our CCE children.  If you are hungry today or tomorrow you can always go to the curbside station in the front of the school for a quick and yummy lunch!  :)

Packing! Packing! Packing!

Because we are getting new carpet and HVAC this summer, K3 is having to PACK UP EVERYTHING before the last day of school.  As you can imagine this is a very large job to do!  If you still have books at home that need to be returned please send them in ASAP!

We couldn't have done it without Christianette as our cheerleader or Ian as our Video man.  Thanks to all of the parent helpers today and to the best Kindergarten class at CCE!  :)

On the Field!

So far So Good as FIELD DAY!

We have had a GREAT day so far at Field Day.  We started the day off right by WINNING the tug of war for kindergarten.  We will be in the tug of war CHAMPIONSHIPS at 2:00.  It is always a great event if you want to come out.  :)

Sneak Peek at the Field Day Schedule

Hot off of the press!  Field Day is THIS Friday.  Your child was partnered up today at PE.  This is a really fun all day event.  I hope to see you there!  The cafeteria will have sack lunches available, but it may be easier for you to send a sack lunch.  Make SURE to wear tennis shoes, shorts, your new field day t-shirt, and sunscreen.

Ranger Game!

What a great night at the Texas Ranger game on Monday night.  It was so great to see all of my K3 friends!
